INTRODUCING KREDO: BANKING WITHOUT ACCOUNTS — SPENDABILITY WITHOUT OWNERSHIP

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

1. Privacy by Design

Kredo is built on a fundamental principle: Minimalism. We believe that the best way to protect user data is not to collect it in the first place. Our architecture is "accountless" and "stateless", meaning we do not maintain a database of user profiles, transaction histories, or balances.

2. On-Chain Data & Zero-Knowledge

Interactions with the Kredo protocol occur on public blockchains. However, Kredo utilizes Zero-Knowledge Identity technology. This means:

  • You prove eligibility (e.g., "I am allowed to spend") without revealing who you are.
  • Your on-chain transaction history does not link back to a persistent public address or identity graph.
  • The protocol validates proofs, not people.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Since we do not act as a custodian and offer a non-custodial interface, we do not collect or store:

  • Names, physical addresses, or email addresses.
  • KYC documents (unless explicitly required by a specific third-party integration you choose).
  • IP addresses or device fingerprints linked to financial activity.

4. Third-Party Services

Our interface may connect to third-party providers (e.g., RPC nodes, optional fiat on-ramps). These services may have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before interacting with external integrations.

5. Changes to This Policy

As the protocol evolves, this policy may be updated. We will notify the community of significant changes through our official communication channels (Twitter, GitHub, Blog).
